Description
Half Day Sampler Tour
Starting from your hotel, railway station (or other agreed pickup location) your guide will drive you to a local, family-owned vineyard to begin your introduction to the wines of the region. During the tour of the winery we explain the wines and their production techniques, and give you the opportunity to taste and buy them. Often you will meet the owners.
Your second winery visit offers the chance to taste an additional selection, giving you a broader understanding of Loire Valley wines, or you could choose the optional chateau tour. Vineyards visited will vary depending on your pickup location and can be adapted to any preferences you may have.
At the end of a delightful afternoon learning about the region, its people and its traditions, we drop you back to your hotel.
