Description
Chateau & garden tour
The Loire Valley is rightly famous for its wines, but equally for its chateaux and gardens. These were key elements of the landscape which resulted in its classification as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and people come from all over the world to admire them.
In the company of an award-winning garden designer and local history expert you will be guided around two of the great chateaux and gardens of the region. If you wish, you may select from a number of them but do remember this is a very large region, so you need to make your choice carefully to ensure they can be seen in one day. Of course, we are happy to select the best sites for you.
Between chateau visits we will have lunch in a small local restaurant and soak up the atmosphere of the region. Driving from one chateau to another will also give you an opportunity to see the countryside.
